We believe that we have the most realistic steak texture in the market.
Replicating the texture of real meat is incredibly complex, but it's also very important. A lack of good textures for plant-based products is known to be one of the main reasons why carnivores stick to their meats. We - a small team of vegans that met at Harvard University - found a simple yet very natural way of creating an authentic texture: using all-natural plant fibers to replicate muscle fibers.
In recent product drops, our texture received a feedback score of 9.5/10. Some people tell us that we nailed the hardest part but still need to finetune our flavoring a bit. This is where your feedback comes in!
Our products are made every week in a small facility in Baltimore, Maryland. We ship weekly to customers (see below).

Our vegan ribeyes contains soy and wheat. It is manufactured in a facility which processes milk, eggs, finfish, shellfish, sesame, tree nuts, and peanuts.
Our plant-based ribeyes keep in the freezer for at least 6 months. Refrigerated they last for 1 week.
Because they're shipped frozen, it's important that someone is available to receive the package and to store the products in the freezer. The products will arrive frozen or chilled.

Shipping frozen food is extremely expensive due to the costs of insulation materials and ice packs. The shipping costs for one package can be $35 or more and we are happy to absorb most of these costs. At the same time, we work hard on reducing the costs of frozen shipment further.
If it's your first time, we recommend searing them. This is the easiest and most reliable method. They need to be seared for about 8 minutes to an internal temperature of 150F.
If you've had Offbeast before and know what degree of doneness you like, feel free to experiment! You can grill, reverse sear or sous vide them just like a real ribeye.
